Call for Presentations - We are FM: People Business in a Digital World

Data di pubblicazione: 25 GEN 2018
Take center stage at the most attended FM event tailored to industry professionals and inspire Europe!

At World Workplace Europe Conference and Expo, the brightest minds in the industry come together to learn, connect, and advance. As a session presenter, you can lead fellow FMs in thinking about what they’re doing in their facilities. You can show them how to improve their work and implement practices that benefit their organizations and their industry.

The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) will host World Workplace Europe 2018 in the vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain on 15-17 May. This event will bring together FM professionals of all backgrounds to engage, learn and be inspired at Casa Llotja, a 14th-century Catalan gothic architectural masterpiece and one of Europe’s premiere historic meeting venues.

Are you ready to share your FM expertise and shape the future of FM? Submit now! Submission Deadline: 31 January

Conference theme
This year’s theme is People Business in a Digital World. Facility management in Europe involves both tending to the built environment and serving the people who use it. The needs of people and their experiences play a pivotal role in how we define our buildings, workplaces and services.

As technology takes a more prominent role in our society and the business of FM, we need to explore the related challenges and opportunities for the profession. IFMA and RICS envision this as the platform for World Workplace Europe 2018.

Submissions
While the intersection of people and technology is the core theme of this year’s event, we invite session proposal submissions on all relevant FM-related topics.

Submission and selection process
All submissions will be reviewed by the selection committee. Each submission will be evaluated on the following:

Relevance of the topic
Topics can range from subjects around building and portfolio management, space and workplace management, hard and soft services, technology, sustainability and financial management, as well as the interrelations between them.

The program committee will form session tracks based the presentation proposals, giving preference to submissions that link to the conference theme.

Quality of the content
Your description of content should provide tangible references to sources used and your own experience. It should clearly explain the topics addressed and their relevance.

Background of the speakers
We invite speakers from all professional backgrounds, such as FM practitioners, demand management representatives, service providers and research representatives, as well as HR, IT and finance. Your profile description should display relevant experience and/or knowledge around the subject presented.
